Light is one of the key factors needed to grow healthy and thriving plants. When placing the yCubes in the Gardyn, it may be helpful to be aware of a few key elements to placement such as size and height of the plant, light exposure, etc. Here are a few tips:
- Be aware of how big the plants are. It is best practice to avoid grouping large grown plants.
- Trimming , pruning and harvesting regularly will ensure sufficient airflow and light for all plants.
- Spacing crops or leaving an empty space above a large plant is a good option. You can cover with one of the caps that came with your welcome kit.
- As plants mature, you can move them around as they grow to ensure they are not blocking the light or other plants from the much needed light.
